Really great place! The food was super tasty, the service was quick and friendly, and the prices were totally fair. We had a great time.It was so good the first time that we had to come back for more.

During my recent visit to Konoba Promenada in August, I had one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve ever had — not only because of the delicious food and beautiful setting, but because of the incredible service provided by Max. He truly made the evening unforgettable, and I believe he deserves every bit of praise for the way he goes above and beyond for every guest. From the moment I arrived, Max made me feel completely welcome. He greeted me with a warm smile that instantly set a positive tone for the evening. You could immediately tell he was a professional who takes pride in his work, but what stood out even more was his genuine kindness and enthusiasm. He made the whole experience feel personal, not just like another restaurant visit. Konoba Promenada itself is a lovely place — charming, comfortable, and full of character. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between traditional and modern, with a cozy coastal vibe that makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal. But as beautiful as the restaurant is, it’s really the staff — and especially Max — who make it shine. Max is one of those rare people who seem to speak to everyone effortlessly. He’s fluent in German, English, Czech, Croatian, Italian, and Spanish, which is incredibly impressive. I watched him switch between languages with such ease, making guests from all over the world feel instantly comfortable. That kind of multilingual skill doesn’t just show intelligence — it shows dedication, empathy, and a genuine desire to connect with people. Throughout the meal, his service was absolutely flawless. He was attentive without ever hovering, always appearing right when needed — whether to refill a glass, check on our meals, or offer dessert suggestions. He had excellent knowledge of the menu, giving thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. Every interaction felt natural and sincere, never rushed or mechanical. You could tell he really enjoys what he does, and that joy is contagious. And I have to mention — Max is also incredibly handsome, with a confident yet friendly presence that adds even more charm to the experience. But it’s not just about looks — it’s about how he carries himself. He has that rare combination of professionalism and warmth that makes guests feel valued and appreciated. By the end of the evening, it was clear why so many people speak highly of Konoba Promenada — it’s not just the food or the setting, but the people who make it special. Max is truly the heart of the place. His professionalism, kindness, and effortless multilingual communication make him an absolute standout in the hospitality industry. If you visit Konoba Promenada, you’re in for an amazing experience. And if you’re lucky enough to have Max as your server, you’ll understand exactly why he deserves all the praise. He turns an ordinary meal into a memorable moment.

Amazing food! The plate for two is customizable, and you can actually order whatever you like. We went with the seafood platter for two, which included a whole fish, scampi in a white wine sauce, grilled and fried squid, and mussels (also in a wine sauce). Every single item was perfectly prepared and tasted absolutely heavenly! We had visited a few other restaurants before this one, and honestly, we were a bit disappointed—while the food wasn’t bad, it lacked character and depth of flavor. But Promenada completely revived our foodie spirits! The waiter was very friendly and helpful, offering great advice on how to make the most of the seafood platter. Our son ordered a pizza, but he ended up eating from our plate as well! All in all, this is the best seafood restaurant we've tried on the Cres and Lošinj islands. I highly recommend it to all seafood lovers. P.S. If you order the scampi or mussels, I recommend choosing the white wine sauce and getting some bread to soak up every last bit—trust me, you’ll want to!

Beautiful dinner with my family in this place. Service by Mr Darko was excellent, he treated us very well and was very kind. Food quality is great, also dessert is worth it.
